Security services in Egypt received a report of a massive fire inside a factory in the industrial zone of New Damietta City, causing the flames to spread to a number of neighboring buildings.
A police force from the New Damietta Police Department immediately responded, along with ambulances, while the city's defense forces dispatched several fire engines to control the blaze.
On the other hand, the residents of Kafr El Battikh were surprised by the presence of thick smoke resulting from the accident, which could affect the crops in the area, in addition to causing mild cases of suffocation due to the presence of thick smoke, Egypt Today said.
